A319 / A320 / A321 alternative engine tooling — IAE 1F Series
The IAE V2500 is the IAE consortium powerplant (P&W / Rolls-Royce / JAE / MTU joint venture) for the Airbus A320 family — the alternative to CFM56-5B. The V2500-A5 series powers most active A320 / A321 ceo deliveries, with over 6,000 engines flying. 145GSE manufactures the IAE 1F Series tooling family for V2500 engine assembly, disassembly, and module handling, including the Hurel-Hispano nacelle interface tooling specific to V2500-equipped airframes.

The IAE 1F Series is the standardized V2500 maintenance tooling kit covering fan section, compressor, combustion, and turbine module work. Our 1F Series catalog includes the kit-IDs IAE1P (IAE standard) and HU (Hurel-Hispano nacelle) cross-referenced from the original tooling list. Each fixture carries dual identification: our serial number plus the IAE kit-ID for cross-reference with OEM maintenance manuals.
V2500 nacelles use Hurel-Hispano (now Safran Nacelles) interface fixtures distinct from CFM56 nacelles. We supply the full HU-prefix tooling — thrust reverser handling stands, fan cowl rigging fixtures, exhaust nozzle alignment kits — built to specified loads and shock-isolation requirements for narrow-body MRO bays.
While V2500 and CFM56-5B power the same airframes, the engines are mechanically distinct — different LPT module geometry, different fuel-control architecture, different gearbox layout. Tooling does NOT cross-platform. We tag every fixture with its applicable engine series so MRO planners can confirm fitment before quoting.
Send drawings, a worn sample, or a part-number list — an engineer reviews every inquiry and replies within 48 hours. Custom IAE V2500 tooling is built to drawing on a 8–14 week lead time.
