CFM56-7B

B737 NG / MAX engine tooling and ground support equipment

7,392 products in catalog·Variants: CFM56-7B22, -7B24, -7B26, -7B27

The CFM56-7B is the exclusive powerplant on the Boeing 737 NG family (737-600 / -700 / -800 / -900) and continues service on the 737 MAX as the CFM LEAP-1B's predecessor in many MRO operations. 145GSE manufactures the full range of in-service CFM56-7B tooling — fan section disassembly fixtures, LPT module handling stands, HPC borescope kits, fan blade transport racks, and engine transportation dollies — to OEM-equivalent specifications. Most catalog items ship within 4–8 weeks; rush production is available on a case-by-case basis.

Fan section assembly tooling

Fan section work — fan blade installation, fan disk balancing, spinner cone alignment — accounts for ~30% of CFM56-7B shop visits. We supply OEM-equivalent fan blade installation fixtures, fan disk balancing stands, and torque-controlled blade-to-disk attachment kits with full calibration certificates traceable to NIST masters.

LPT and HPC module handling

Low-pressure turbine (LPT) and high-pressure compressor (HPC) module handling requires specialized stands, lifting yokes, and rotation rigs. Our LPT module stands carry full structural certifications and are designed for shock-isolation transport between teardown and overhaul stations. HPC borescope inspection kits cover all standard inspection ports with calibrated reach tools.

Engine transportation and storage

Complete CFM56-7B engine transport stands and dollies (often called engine cradles) ship with shock-isolated mounts, certified lifting points, and ISPM-15 export crating. Long-term storage stands include desiccant ports and canvas covers. Custom transport configurations for narrow-body cargo holds available with 8–10 week lead time.

Common questions

View all FAQ →
QDo you stock CFM56 tooling?
Yes. We carry tooling for CFM56-5A, CFM56-5B, and CFM56-7B variants — fan section assembly fixtures, LPT module stands, HPC borescope ports, fan blade transport racks, and engine transportation dollies. The CFM56 catalog is our largest engine-tooling subset; most items ship from stock or in 4–6 weeks.
QDo you make IAE V2500 tooling?
Yes. We supply V2500-A1 and V2500-A5 tooling including the IAE 1F Series tooling family (engine assembly/disassembly fixtures), nacelle handling rigs (Hurel-Hispano interface), and module transportation stands. V2500 and CFM56-5B tooling sometimes shares fixtures because both engines power the A320 family.
QWhat about Rolls-Royce Trent tooling?
Yes. Trent 700 (A330) and Trent 800 (B777) tooling is stocked or built-to-order — fan blade balance fixtures, LPT/HPT module handling, intermediate pressure compressor support stands, and combustor inspection ports. Lead time on Trent custom fixtures is 8–12 weeks given the larger physical envelope vs. CFM56-class engines.
QDo you support GE CF6 and GEnx engines?
Yes. CF6-80C2 (B747, B767, A300, A310) and GEnx-1B (B787) tooling is in our catalog — module handling stands, fan blade racks, HPC borescope kits, and combustor liner inspection fixtures. We also cross-reference older GE / Snecma kit IDs from legacy maintenance manuals for customers running mixed fleets.
