B747 / B767 / A300 / A310 engine tooling
The GE CF6-80C2 is the workhorse wide-body engine on Boeing 747-400 and 767, plus the Airbus A300 / A310 series. With nearly 4,000 engines built and in-service through to ~2030+ on freighter conversions and second-tier operations, CF6-80C2 tooling remains an active MRO segment. 145GSE supplies module handling stands, fan blade racks, HPC borescope kits, and combustor liner inspection fixtures — sized appropriately for the larger physical envelope vs. CFM56-class engines.

CF6-80C2 module stands and transport dollies are physically larger than CFM56-class units. Our heavy-engine tooling line is rated for the LP / HP module weights typical of CF6 and is built with reinforced lifting points certified to AGM specifications. Lead time on custom CF6 transport stands is typically 10–14 weeks given the larger structural-engineering review.
CF6-80C2 fan blade installation, balancing, and transport racks are sized for the larger fan diameter and blade weight. We supply blade transport racks with foam-isolated cradles, tip-protection covers, and individual serial tracking compatible with bar-code or RFID inventory systems.
While CF6-80C2 is the same core engine across all four airframes, mounting interfaces, accessory drives, and bleed system tap-offs differ. We tag each fixture with the applicable airframe series; cross-compatibility is confirmed during quote review.
Send drawings, a worn sample, or a part-number list — an engineer reviews every inquiry and replies within 48 hours. Custom GE CF6-80C2 tooling is built to drawing on a 8–14 week lead time.
